As of March 13, Google Assistant is rolling out on iPad in English and six other languages. This means iPad users will now have the same functionality they’ve had since last year on iPhones. The release for iPad is fully functional, including all the features of the existing iPhone app, but the iPad version also takes advantage of the tablet’s bigger screen with both portrait and landscape modes.

With Google Assistant on the iPad, users can ask questions, make phone calls, or control smart home devices associated with their Google Home accounts. Since iOS 11 allows multitasking with a split screen, the addition of Google Assistant means you can keep using the tablet for productivity or gaming while also interacting with the Assistant.

Google Assistant is available from the Apple App Store. Just search for Google Assistant or tap here.
